A Foundation Built on Advocacy and Preparation

Michael’s interest in the law began early. While still in high school and college, he worked in his uncle’s law firm, gaining firsthand exposure to what it means to advocate for people during difficult moments in their lives. Those early experiences shaped his belief that strong legal representation requires more than technical skill. It requires attention, effort, and a willingness to go further than expected.

That mindset carried into law school at Ohio Northern University’s Claude W. Pettit College of Law. There, Michael distinguished himself through academic excellence and leadership, serving as Managing Editor of the Ohio Northern University Law Review and working as a research assistant. His time in law school reinforced the importance of precision, preparation, and clear legal reasoning, all of which continue to define his approach today.

Client-Focused Representation With Trial-Ready Discipline

At The Stuckey Firm, Michael focuses his practice on representing individuals who have been injured or wronged. He is known for taking the time to understand not only the legal issues involved, but also the personal impact an injury has on a client and their family.

Michael believes that hiring a lawyer should reduce stress, not add to it. He takes ownership of the legal process so clients can focus on their recovery, their families, and their future. Every case is prepared with trial readiness from the start. Not because every case belongs in a courtroom, but because careful preparation strengthens negotiation, credibility, and outcomes.

His work reflects the firm’s commitment to personalized service and accountability. Clients receive direct attention, honest guidance, and advocacy built to withstand pressure from insurers and opposing counsel alike.

Leadership and Service Beyond the Courtroom

Michael’s commitment to service extends well beyond his legal practice. He is actively involved in the Springfield community and serves on the boards of Leadership Clark County and Springfield Corp, where he helps support programs that strengthen and serve local families.

He also volunteers with numerous organizations, including Second Harvest Food Bank of Clark, Champaign, and Logan Counties, The Gathering of Miami Valley, Junior Achievement of the Mad River Region, United Way of Clark, Champaign, and Madison Counties, On The Rise, United Senior Services, Springfield Foundation, and The Nehemiah Foundation.

Michael is especially passionate about mentoring and youth development. He coaches youth football for the Kenton Ridge Cougars, using athletics as a way to teach discipline, teamwork, and accountability. His involvement reflects a belief that strong communities are built through consistent, hands-on leadership.
